A Regular Service To Your Door

Waste Away services all suburbs of Canberra and Queanbeyan on a regular basis. New customers can choose between 1, 2 or 3 wheelie bins. Wheelie bins provide a safer, flexible and cost effective alternative to trash packs. They are easy to move around your yard and the lid ensures your waste remains dry and free of vermin. Each bin has a capacity of 240 litres (and is the same size as your yellow lid recycling bin the government provides.)

Waste Away service includes:

• Provision of your bin/s,
• No deposit or hire fee required,
• Collections are programmed in 4 weekly cycles,
• You can adjust your collection frequency to suit your needs / the time of year,
• If your bin isn’t full, contact us and you won’t be charged for that cycle,
• You do not need to wheel your bin to the kerb, just make sure we have clear access to move it for you,
• No minimum contract period or administration fees,
• Friendly, reliable service.

What Can You Use Your Bin For?

You will find your Waste Away bin a great time-saver for: lawn clippings, leaves, prunings, weeds, newspapers & magazines, bottles, tins etc, in fact most dry household waste. If you dispose of food or dog droppings, please wrap them in paper or plastic.

You MUST NOT use your bins/packs for:
Paint, hazardous substances, engine oils & filters, dirt, rocks or other heavy material.

Rates

For a regular service, $25.50 for one bin, $40.00 for two bins.
For a one-off service, 660L Rubbish Bin $70.00, 1100L Rubbish Bin $94.00.

Payment Options - Preferred method of payment is via EFT however cash, cheque, money orders and credit cards are also accepted.
